This is my April Monthly submission for Splashy Mix Challenges. The tealight holder cum vase made from an altered glass bottle is adorned with sea elements and is designed for Oceanic dwellers. #splashymix16 I was inspired by the Star Fish and the colour scheme in particular.

Mix Media Altered Vase with Tealight Holder
I have used a wooden base placing the metal tealight holders over them . A glass bottle was used as a vase.

Using Gesso from iCraft and a cheese cloth from itsy bitsy to give a texture to the bottle and the wooden base. Used blue chalk paint from iCraft to colour it. Also adorned the bottle with sea elements made of paper clay from Amazon. The elements are coloured with Inka gold wax colours. The base of the Vase is designed using stones ,glass and micro beads. Also used script stamps on the bottle from Craft treat. The handmade daisy flowers are made of foam from Crafters Corner.

This is the final image that enhances the beauty of the Vase with hand made rose made of foam from Crafters Corners. All set for a romantic date in a Oceanic theme.

I hope you liked this project , would love to know your feedbacks in the comments section below. I also cater to orders for customized handcrafted gifts for themes of your choice. Feel free to contact me to know more hazelestibeiro@gmail.com
