Books frequently light my creative fire, Their key to gathering inspiration is not just reading but to let art spur your creative actions with the use of books….

Paper Art
I am a nature lover and I usually read books when I am around nature. This project is from one such experience where my imaginations of how nature would express it self with the help of books. I have tried to bring in those beautiful things I would see while I was reading through my book.

Method :
- A wooden base was colored with little birdies chalk paint and used stenciling and stamping for designing the wooden base. Then adorned it with Finnabair wax for giving it a shine.
- Prepared the shape of the book using a Gold and White Card stock. Then designed the shape of the book with Heartfelt Creations book dye.
- Using this dye have cut out my old novel pages and stuck it on my card to give scripted effect
- Then stamped and distressed this complete project with Rangers distress vintage ink. Then cut out some leaf dye cuts and attached some wooden branch and bird embellishments for displaying natures look . And colored these embellishments with Prima Rust effect Paste.

That’s the thing about books they let you travel without moving your feet .. Jhumpa Lahiri
